Battery committee reviews five association-standard projects

Policy and standards , industry news,  events and delegations — published in English, with a source included with every figure.

A meeting report attributed to CABIA records a review in Beijing on 28 May 2026 of five association-standard projects. The topics covered cost accounting for traction and storage batteries, lithium-metal battery testing for electric flying vehicles, sealing compounds for rivet nuts, battery-manufacturing energy consumption, and evaluation of battery-system safety-warning models. The report illustrates the range of technical cooperation being organized around emerging applications, manufacturing performance and safety assessment. Project review or initiation is not equivalent to publication of an effective standard; subsequent progress should be tracked separately for each project.
