CABIA and JAMA Discuss Battery Passports and Carbon Footprints

A delegation from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association visited CABIA on 15 September 2026. Representatives exchanged updates on their organisations and discussed Japan’s electric vehicle market, battery passports and carbon footprints. Senior CABIA representatives attended the meeting. The two sides reached a consensus on maintaining regular communication and deepening cooperation. The exchange identified practical subjects for continued dialogue between the Japanese automotive sector and China’s battery industry.
