MIIT, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the State Administration for Market Regulation have launched a one-year campaign covering vehicle production conformity, reliability, durability and validation of new technologies. Vehicle manufacturers are expected to review supplier management, manufacturing processes and testing arrangements, and submit self-inspection and corrective-action reports to local industry authorities by the end of December 2026. For battery suppliers, relevant areas include procurement specifications, incoming inspection, component quality management and the reliability validation of critical vehicle systems.
