Sixth University Battery Innovation Competition Showcases Student Research

The sixth China University Battery Innovation Competition concluded in Nanjing on 3 December 2023. It attracted 693 students in 164 teams from 70 universities, with eight teams reaching the final. The programme included research and science-communication tracks covering lithium batteries, next-generation technologies, lifecycle management and intelligent applications. CABIA provided guidance, while LG Energy Solution and the Zhixing initiative for Chinese university students’ social practice organised the competition. The event records an industry–university channel for emerging battery research talent.
