A forum on diverse battery applications and industrial integration took place in Yibin on 4 September 2026 as part of the World Power Battery Conference. Discussions covered electric vessels, eVTOL aircraft, robotics, heavy trucks and construction machinery, including the need to adapt safety validation to each application. The forum also announced a group standard addressing safety requirements and test methods throughout the operating life of electric-vehicle traction battery systems.
