T/CAAMTB 16—2019 addresses recommended module dimensions for traction batteries used in passenger and commercial vehicles. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is responsible for the standard, and CABIA is listed among its drafting organizations. The register describes multiple combinations of module dimensions in the N2 and N3 directions. Participation from vehicle manufacturers, battery companies and research institutions makes the record useful historical evidence of industry collaboration. Its module-level scope differs from the cell-level 2023 dimension standard; the two should not be presented as a simple replacement relationship.
