On 18 June 2021, Guolian, the chair organisation of CABIA’s Testing and Validation Branch, held a training workshop on gas analysis during battery thermal runaway. Representatives from more than 20 companies and institutions attended. The programme combined discussion of test equipment, analytical methods and shared industry needs with demonstrations. Participants considered method improvement and preliminary standards research, providing a forum for developing safety-testing knowledge and collaboration.
