CABIA’s Testing and Validation Branch was established at a meeting in Beijing on 18 December 2020, held alongside the inauguration of the National Automotive Traction Battery Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre. Representatives from more than 60 organisations attended. Discussions addressed testing methods, evaluation systems, battery safety, risk warning and testing technology. The event records the development of an organised network for technical exchange and collaboration in battery testing and validation.
