A 2016 workshop brought Chinese and international companies together to discuss battery manufacturing processes, equipment and standards.
In October 2016, manufacturing quality, process coordination and production scale were shared industry challenges. CABIA co-organised a workshop with CAAM and the National Power Battery Innovation Center.
More than 60 participants from over 30 organisations attended. Samsung, LG Chem, Siemens and Omron joined Chinese participants in presenting manufacturing experience and discussing coordination across the battery value chain.
