Battery carbon-footprint dialogue with TÜV Rheinland

CABIA brought TÜV Rheinland and industry participants together to discuss carbon-footprint methods, international rules and draft standards.As lifecycle environmental information gained attention, understanding different accounting approaches became a cooperation issue. CABIA convened more than 100 representatives across industry and academia.

TÜV Rheinland specialists explained EU product environmental footprint concepts and examples, then joined CABIA-led draft-standard discussions on tracking, data and technical content.
