On 28 October 2016, CABIA, the National Power Battery Innovation Centre and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers jointly organised a workshop on large-scale intelligent battery manufacturing and equipment. More than 60 representatives from over 30 organisations attended, including participants from Samsung, LG Chem, Siemens and Omron. Discussions covered manufacturing equipment, processes and standards, with proposals for continued collaboration, standards research and pilot work. The report documents manufacturing cooperation during the alliance’s early development.
